TBT Recruitment are actively recruiting for 2 drainage/ pipelayers who hold slinger tickets to start on a project near Trafford centre, Manchester.

Applicants must hold a valid CPCS or NPOR’s slinger ticket and have proven relevant experience to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Laying deep, surface, and foul drainage pipes to precise invert levels and laser lines.
• Acting as Slinger/Signaller for lifting heavy pipes, manhole rings, and trench support.
• Trench preparation, bedding, pipe testing (air/water), and safe backfilling.
• Constructing precast concrete manholes, catchpits, and headwalls.
• Working closely with 360 operators and adhering strictly to site lifting plans and RAMS.

Job Description:

TBT Recruitment are currently recruiting for a 360 operator who holds both tracked and wheeled competencies on either CPCS or NPOR’s to work as part of a pipelaying/ drainage team.

Work is booked in until end of November for this position, with potential for longer for the right candidstes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating both wheeled (duck) and tracked 360 excavators safely and efficiently across site.
• Executing precise deep drainage trenching, foundation excavations, and grading/mucking out.
• Working with quick hitch attachments (buckets, breakers, grabs) for varied groundworks tasks.
• Guiding and collaborating with groundworkers, pipelayers, and slingers in line with site RAMS.
• Performing daily machine defect checks, safe operating inspections, and routine maintenance.
